On the way to San Francisco last july 25th we had to take a detour because of a fire. it added around 2 extra hours but my Mom, Dad and I all agreed it was worth it. We had a great time and enjoyed the scenery. here is some of the pictures on the way to the San Francisco Marathon.
I must say that this day was just amazing!! We saw more galleries/museums than one can see in a month. Talked with the artist, learn about what they had to do to get to where they are now. Very inspiring. LA has just so much to offer. You just have to go outside and walk around. below is a collection of murals, right outside across from LACMA , and after that some pics from LAX Art . We then went to another 10+ galleries. ended the night eating Ethiopian food ( amazing), and a round around China Town to finish the day.
Summer Camp has started and its loaded with a bunch of adventures!!! Summer camp people just care about doing things that 75 percent of the group haven’t done yet. like training a condor to say “hi”, eating rocks, and under water basket weaving (which is harder than most people give it credit for! so far its been so much fun!!!
The weekend of spring break my friend Krista Skustad ( check out her blog she is crazy cool photographer) invited me to her Rock Band Party. I had never played this game before. It was pretty cool. We all had a few drink and it was just a very fun night. Here are some pics of that day plus a few others because they just felt like they belonged together.
My cousin Octavio has been working on getting his new business going. He is working pretty hard, and the doughnut shop is looking real nice. i wish him the best! A few weeks ago I was there for a little bit and snapped a few shots of him and Erica.
Milena is a very good friend of me. We met in High School, and she is one of very few people I still see from the good all Buena Park High. Milena is a fellow peruvian, and moved here just about the same time, well maybe before me. An artist that denies it, she has so much talent and she lets no one see it. That day we had an awesome lunch at a Thai restaurant with Maricarmen and then she abandon us at the mall to go take care of some problems and we just had a good time pretending we were gonna buy something. Funny thing, we wanted Thai food so I told them about this restaurant in Garden Grove but couldn’t remember the name. Milena grabbed her iPhone and Yelped Thai restaurant in Garden Grove. Couldn’t remember any of the names she threw at me so we just went to the best one (by yelp.com) that was in the area… As we are getting close I see that the restaurant that Yelp had recommended is the restaurant I wanted to go to. The name is Jumpa Thai restaurant and is very good!

Posted under PhOtOgRaPhY, Street, blog, modelA few weeks ago I had to take pictures for an assignment. I did the assignment wrong I guess but never the less I liked the photos. I captured people laughing. I think most of the time when people know they are getting their picture taken they smile. There is nothing wrong with smiling, yet is not genuine, its posed. Catching this natural laughs was pretty cool, I ask the different groups of people if I could take pictures first; I told them to ignore me, to forget I was there. I had to wait about 15 minutes until they started losing up, and eventually, they where back to normal, as if I was not even there. Here are some of them. 
Eddy, Patric and I went to Black Star Canyon to check out the meteor shower. Me got to see some amazing shooting stars but while doing so got distracted doing some long exposure photographs. All of them are about 30 seconds; big props to them for being able to not move for 30 seconds, it is harder than you may think. we were in a pretty dark place and only used the light from cars that passed by,We had a great time.
Last week we had a 3 models come with us to this club that is being built in Fullerton. The shoot was for my available light class. The assignment was to take a portrait utilizing light in a beautiful way. We all had a blast, I followed Courtney, and here are some of the pics i took of her.
On friday 30th I went out to shoot some pics at a club for the OC Register’s, Excelsior. While doing so I found this Light that caught my attention. I think its a laser but to be truth I have no idea. The next day some of the people in my available class met at Old Town Orange to take some pictures. so that where the last one comes from… there will be more from halloween soon.
