This month was very good. My grandparents came from Peru after 4 years! We have always been very close, and that has been the longest we have ever been apart. They are just so sweet together, I want to grow old like them. They still see their friends and go out. I don’t think I can find a single change in them Since I can remember. Last week I bought me my first pair of nikes, which makes my commitment to running official ( I was running on a piece of @#$*t shoes). I hate the color, but they were on sale and they really make me happy when I run. And last but not least my Mom’s B-day, we just went out for dinner and had a very nice time just with the family.  

On the attempt to take a picture for an assignment I discover something that I ignored for a long time. Gels. I’ve never used them and never even though of trying. Today, I was shooting for something, when I started playing with gels I just loved it. Something about mixing colors its just fascinating. Sadly I only had 10 minutes for my sister Maricarmen, she had to go to work so this was all I got. this were a try out for something I want to practice a little more.

So every time I go running i see this couch. It is not any couch, but it is yellow and, it just looks kin of cool. This couch is on the side of a ditch. I decided to take pictures of it. First I went with Maricarmen and jumped a small fence to make it inside. This gave me the idea of taking Bonny’s portrait for her 365 days project project where she is going to have a portrait taken avery day of 2009. I think its an awesome project. So far i’ve taken 4 of her portraits. Check out all the pics by clicking on the Pictures.  

I just saw this in http://twestival.com/ and it made me think. We all like to complain, and I have to be honest, now we complain more and more as the economy get a little tougher. So what, you have to cancel the cable and not eat out as much, in other places those things are not even available.

Paul Dateh is an extremely talented musician, he launch his album Last night.  The buibrothers asked me to come and take the pics of the event at the Dakota lounge. The concert was broadcast live in the internet which is something that Paul loves. It was an awesome night, Paul was great even though I know he was pretty sick.  I had such a good time and he really is an incredible singer, song writer, violinist, rapper, and much more. check him out at pauldateh.com
