Last month I had the pleasure to hang out with Mariel and Said. They were visiting California and I was their tour guy for day. Obviously, I took them to LACMA (Los Angeles Museum of Art). LACMA is my favorite museum. After almost 2 hours of traffic we got there to find out we were an hour early, so we walked around town. LACMA always has new exhibits that are just awesome. They liked it, but not as much as they like the Getty. My tourist loved the Getty. I just loved the fact that we have all these amazing places that under 10 bucks could get you a whole day of culture. At the end of the day we did 2 huge art Museums under 20 bucks. I love it.

I can not remember the last time I went to a circus. But if I remember anything, it was nothing like this. The Ringling Bros Circus was definitely a show to watch. From magic tricks to clowns, from elephant to tigers. one can get their fix of animals and magic. And even if you get the cheap tickets ( which I did) you get a good view. With 20 bucks I got in and it was a fun night   

The O.C. Fairwhich started in 1890, which makes it a 119 years old event. It started with just some livestock exhibitions and horse races to what it is now days a huge amusement park like event. This year their theme was “Super Fair” and it was, with almost the most attendance ever. I got there somewhere around noon on a Thursday and there was already a good amount of people. The minute you walk in you can smell the delicious, fatty, juicy food that you can get almost in every corner.

I took my 28 years old film camera thinking it’s been a while. Well, it was a while, and I guess I had forgot how to use it a bit. Well, I just forgot to put film in it, so, half way through my day of taking hundreds of pictures were just lost. At one point I thought to myself, “wow, I’ve taking to many pictures, and the film hasn’t run out”. There was no film.

They had the Al’s brain 3D show Al’s Brain  which was free and very funny too. There was a small circus, small, but it was the best part of the day for me. The two guys were funny and their tricks were very good. I had an entertaining day overall and the food was just awesome!
